Product Spotlight: Ready Rocker Review

I recently saw an ad for this product called The Ready Rocker when I was scrolling through Instagram a few months back and it definitely peaked my interest. I guess it was meant to be because Ready Rocker had a booth set up at the Prego Expo convention in Tampa, which meant I got to test it out. Long story short I now have a Ready Rocker and I’m obsessed! 

I’m sure you’re wondering what the hell a Ready Rocker is?? Well in a nutshell it’s basically a portable rocking chair. Like literally you can turn any surface you’re sitting on into a rocking chair… I was hooked after one try haha

What I’m most excited about though, is using it to sooth baby girl when she finally decides to make her grand entrance into this world. Rocking has always been a soothing motion for babies and apparently (I just learned this) when you rock during pregnancy it can improve neurodevelopment in the womb and reduce pain during labor. And that’s just before brith! After birth, that same rocking motion can help with blood circulation for mama and for baby, that same rocking motion also stimulates growth and respiratory regulation as well as a bunch of other great benefits!

All in all I really enjoy finding and using products that benefit the health of my children and my family and the Ready Rocker is definitely something we as family will be fighting over to use!

You’ve Been Booed! A fun Halloween Tradition!

I recently saw a post on Facebook a friend of mine made about a fun little tradition her neighborhood does every year for Halloween. So I thought it would be fun to put my own little spin on it and try it out in our neighborhood!

With Halloween quickly approaching I thought this would be the perfect time to start this fun little game with my neighbors to get us all in the spooky spirit! Click the button below the photo to print copies for yourself and get to booing your neighbors!

To start I rounded up some leftover halloween decorations, white favor bags and tissue paper I had leftover from a party we hosted awhile back. But you could really use anything you have on hand or make a trip to the dollar store!

I filled my bags with some halloween candy but you could fill them with whatever you’d like! I was thinking about baking some cookies and whipping up a batch of my LEGENDARY rice crispy treats but with covid still being annoying and getting in the way of cute gift bag ideas I stuck to prepackaged candy for sanitary reasons.

Lastly, I assembled the goodie bags and glued the “ You’ve Been Booed” sign to the front of the bag and stuck the other sign for my neighbor to hang in their window inside the bag with all the treats!

Halloween Goodie Bags are now complete!

This little project took me less than 20 minutes to throw together and now I have to go deliver them to my neighbors! I attached links for the bag print out for you on the bottom of this page if you’re interested in trying them! Let me know what you think in the comments below!

Real Talk: Grafomap

   Not only are these throws insanely soft, they look amazing thrown over your bed. I've had mine for almost 2 years now, and it's one of the family's favorites. It feels like one of those weighted blankets. We live in Florida, where it's summer year-round, and this blanket still gets used a ton! I can only imagine the use it would get if we lived where seasons were a thing! #DREAMY
